According to mypy_primer, this change doesn't affect type check results on a corpus of open source code. ✅ |

Actually we discussed with @JukkaL that it makes sense to make one final v1.x release shortly before v2.0 (for various reasons). I will soon (today or tomorrow) create a joint meta issue for 1.20 + 2.0 release with a proposed detailed plan. |
