Welcome to my personal Github!

I am trained in genomic data science and scientific computing. I completed my dissertation at UCLA under Kenneth Lange. I did my postdoc at the UCSF School of Medicine where I was a Data Science Fellow at the Berkeley Institute for Data Science. Since then, I have held data scientist or engineer positions at Ambys Medicines, AmplifyBio, and AncestryDNA. I am currently a Senior Data Scientist at Calico.

My mathematical research interests span numerical optimization, scientific computing, and high-dimensional statistics. I am also deeply interested in genomic data science, bioinformatics, statistical genetics, genetic epidemiology, and methods for admixed populations.
