This PR changes the showMessage feature flag to be enabled by default, making it easier to observe the effects of other flag changes (such as ux.fontColor and ux.fontSize) without needing to manually enable the flag first.

It's hard to see the effect of flag changes (e.g.
ux.fontColor) atm because the message is now shown by default; change to show the message by default.
