Issue #, if available:
Description of changes:
I don't always love using Docker to do local invoke testing, preferring to use a locally built version of https://github.com/aws/aws-lambda-runtime-interface-emulator.
However, this workflow doesn't work for python, as
awslambdaricdoesn't compile it's native dependencies, instead logging thataws-lambda-cppdoesn't compile on Macs. However, that set of issues should be resolved now after changes like awslabs/aws-lambda-cpp#154 present in newer releases. This change
setup.pyto runscripts/preinstall.shon macOSMy no Docker local testing workflow for this looks something like
Makefile
lambda/requirements.txt
Target (OCI, Managed Runtime, both):
OCI
