The deploy guide is nothing special, just a few rudimentary lines so someone new doesn't have to go alone.
The copy url button is also nothing special. I added a small image below the text which has an invisible flash video rendered underneath it. There are no button effects, but that should be simple enough to add.
When I say made deploying easier, I just added the settings.REDIR variable as a default 'w' and formatted the url pattern matching to automatically use settings.redir as the domain.dom/redir/wash thing.
