Picasa album rss as a optional source of slides & Catalan translation

I'm a developer of Ministry of Education of the Government of Catalonia. We chose this fantastic plugin as a slideshow. But we need to save disk space on our servers. Most of our users use picasaweb. This is a little (q&d) trick to add a picasa album as a source of slides. The pull request includes a Catalan translation.

https://github.com/projectestac/wordpress-slideshow-jig and we're working on developing some new features like integration with Google+. We'd like to know how can we contribute our improvements, because I've seen this pull request have'nt have any response in a year.
