How to ignore .inc files?

Bash LS tries to index files at startup:

> BackgroundAnalysis: resolving glob "**/*@(.sh|.inc|.bash|.command)" inside

In C repos, where .inc is a common suffix, this results in hundreds of parsing errors and minutes of wasted startup time.

I can't find the right incantation to change this glob pattern somehow in settings.json. Any suggestions?
