Description

- I have searched (https://github.com/utmstack/UTMStack/issues) for past instances of this issue
- I have verified that my UTMStack version is up-to-date
Describe the bug
In the Log Explorer → Try SQL view, the SQL editor panel becomes disproportionately large on smaller screens.
Its height exceeds the actual content, leaving very little space for the results section below.
This makes investigation extremely difficult because the results are displayed inside a tiny scrollable div, forcing constant scrolling and reducing visibility.
Additionally, the SQL editor cannot be collapsed, which prevents users from reclaiming vertical space during analysis.
Regression Issue
- Select this option if this issue appears to be a regression.
Expected Behavior
- The SQL editor should be collapsible
- The editor height should adapt to screen size or allow manual resizing
- The results section should have enough space to be readable and usable
Current Behavior
- The SQL editor occupies excessive vertical space on small or medium screens
- The results panel becomes too small to be usable
- The SQL editor cannot be collapsed or minimized
- Investigating logs becomes cumbersome due to constant scrolling
Reproduction Steps
- Open Log Explorer
- Click Try SQL
- Use a small or medium screen (laptop, split-screen, browser window not maximized)
- Observe that the SQL editor takes most of the vertical space
- Notice that the results section becomes extremely small with a scroll bar
Possible Solution
- Add a collapse/expand control to the SQL editor panel
- Allow the SQL editor to be resizable (drag to adjust height)
- Apply responsive layout rules so the editor does not dominate the screen on smaller viewports
